The third trip organized by the AAUP for the year 2019 was to Mandaram Nuwara, a location chosen because of its natural beauty; breathtaking mountains and cascading waterfalls. The Trip began at 6.30am on December 11th from the Faculty of Science. It was an 18 km journey to Mandaram Nuwara.  On the way, we passed Garadiya Ella, stopped at to see a power plant at Elamulla  and proceeded to Ethini Ella and Kolapathana Ella.  We had our lunch at the Goodwood Hill Resort. After brief stay at the hotel and the evening tea our group commenced the journey back and reached Peradeniya by 7.30pm.
